Cr:YAG Crystal

Cr:YAG is a passive Q-switched crystal with excellent properties. It is widely used in the passive Q-switched of neodymium-doped YLF, yttrium-doped vanadate, and neodymium doped or ytterbium-doped lasers with wavelengths from 0.8 to 1.2um. Due to its superior chemical stability, ultraviolet radiation resistance and good thermal conductivity, and high damage threshold, Cr:YAG has become a very popular passive Q-switch material.
